Thirteen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Gimhae City were selected as promising export SMEs for the first half of 2022, the most in the province. > Community

Thirteen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Gimhae City were named among the 38 promising export SMEs for the first half of 2022, achieving the largest number of selections in the province.

The "Promising Export SMEs" designation program targets SMEs with export performance of less than $5 million, and the Gyeongnam Regional SME Venture Business Administration designates them annually in the first and second half of the year.

The selected SMEs are: Daeyang Industrial Co., Ltd., Banseok Industries Co., Ltd., Newtech Wellness Co., Ltd., Incus Co., Ltd., Yuwon Tech Co., Ltd., Sun Energy LED Co., Ltd., Midam Co., Ltd., IMTFA Co., Ltd., I-Jet-Fog Co., Ltd., Sejong Flex Co., Ltd., Youngnam Metal Co., Ltd., Korea Precision Industry Co., Ltd., and Ilsung M-Tech Co., Ltd.

In particular, nine companies, including Daeyang Industrial Co., Ltd., have received various support programs from the Gimhae Biomedical Industry Promotion Agency, including the Gimhae-type Strong SME Support Project, Export Insurance Premium Support Project, Overseas Branch Establishment Support Project, and Industrial Certification Support Project, designed to enhance the export competitiveness of local companies.

The 13 companies will receive preferential treatment in export support programs from 20 export support organizations, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, the Korea International Trade Association, and KOTRA, for the next two years, as well as export financing and guarantee support, and preferential interest rates and foreign exchange terms.
